About Cap Dramas

Cap Dramas is an unofficial salary-cap tracker for rugby league that prices every NRL player’s contract as a range, with its source, for fans who follow the cap. It covers all 17 clubs against the 2026 cap of $11.95M, updated every morning. It is free, needs no account, and is not affiliated with the NRL or any club.

What makes Cap Dramas different

Every figure is a range with a tier

A contract shows as Published where a named outlet reported it, or as the Cap Dramas Estimate where no one has. The range and the tier sit beside every figure.

Every published figure names its source

A reported number links to the newspaper, broadcaster or club that reported it, with the date. Aggregators are never cited.

The whole league, not just the headlines

All 549 players on a 2026 contract are priced, including the ones no one has reported on, so a club's total adds up.

It looks ahead

Club totals run to 2028, the first season the cap is projected to rise to $15M–$16M.

Anyone can correct it

If a figure is out and you hold a published source, the corrections form puts it in front of us.
