What we collect

Envelope: your email, optional club preferences, and the page you subscribed from.

Corrections: what is wrong, and the page, source and contact details you choose to add.

Analytics: page views, referrer, browser and device, a coarse location from IP, and clicks and scroll for heatmaps. Hosted and operated by us. Session replay is off.

Server logs: timestamps, IP, and errors, for security and debugging.

No advertising cookies. No ad networks. We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

Send the Weekly Envelope you asked for. Read corrections and, where we agree, change the book. See which pages are used and fix the site. Reply if you left contact details.

Envelope mail goes only to people who subscribed. Every mail has a working unsubscribe. We do not buy lists.

The ChatGPT and Codex plugin

When you use a tool, OpenAI sends Cap Dramas the tool name and its inputs. These can include a search phrase, player or club names, a season, positions, statistical measures, filters, salary amounts and hypothetical roster moves. A search phrase can contain personal information if you include it. The plugin does not request your name, email, account details, location, payment details or files, and is not automatically sent your full conversation.

We use those inputs to find public rugby league information and calculate the comparison or hypothetical scenario you requested. Results sent back to OpenAI can include player names, public contract reports, estimated salary ranges, statistics, ratings, value measures, club information, news, source links, dates and your calculated scenario. Public player information comes from the sources cited in the results.

The plugin does not change real contracts, place bets, subscribe you to email or submit a correction. Newsletter and correction tools return website links. Following those links opens the website, where the website practices in this policy apply.

Tool inputs and calculated scenarios are processed for the request and are not saved in a Cap Dramas account, conversation database or scenario history. We do not log tool request bodies or responses in the application. We do not send them to another AI provider, use them to train models or use them for advertising. Published rugby league data is kept separately as part of our public information service.

Who receives information

OpenAI receives tool results to answer you in ChatGPT or Codex. OpenAI handles your account and conversation under its own privacy policy and your OpenAI settings. Cap Dramas does not control OpenAI's storage or deletion of that information.

Railway hosts our website and plugin endpoint and processes requests and technical logs. Supabase provides storage for website subscriptions and corrections. Resend processes email addresses and message content to deliver requested emails. Our self-hosted Umami analytics measures website use. These website services do not receive plugin tool inputs for marketing or analytics.

The operator can access records needed to run the service, assess corrections and answer requests. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Technical logs and retention

Railway records technical information for requests to public endpoints, including the connecting IP address, user-agent, request identifier and timestamp. For plugin calls, these describe the connection from OpenAI and do not necessarily identify your own device. We use technical logs for security, availability and troubleshooting.

Railway states that logs are retained for 90 days and then deleted automatically. A shorter history shown in our dashboard does not shorten that storage period. We cannot delete or redact individual Railway log entries before that period ends.

Your choices

Do not put confidential or personal information in player searches or hypothetical scenarios. You can stop using or disconnect the plugin in ChatGPT or Codex. Use OpenAI's account controls for conversation history and deletion. Disconnecting does not delete information already held by OpenAI or technical logs still within Railway's retention period.

For information Cap Dramas holds, request access, correction or deletion at info@capdramas.com. We cannot recover a plugin scenario after its request ends because we do not save it. The website's newsletter unsubscribe control stops future mail.

Hold and delete

Envelope list: while you subscribe. Unsubscribing stops mail but retains your address and unsubscribe status so we do not send it again. Ask us to delete your record if you want it removed.

Corrections: as long as we need them to assess the claim and keep a record of the change.

Analytics: for as long as we run the site.
