Inside Cronulla
September regulars, one October so far.
Cronulla have made the finals eight times in ten seasons and hold the fourth-best win rate in the league across both the decade and the last three years. One premiership in sixty seasons, 2016, which the Shire remembers fondly and often. The distinctive part is what they haven't got: the chief executive told members in March that Cronulla are the only Sydney club without government money for a centre of excellence, the group having committed $36.3 million to the leagues club fit-out instead. It keeps working anyway. Craig Fitzgibbon re-signed through 2029 at the AGM, the roster keeps re-signing, and the closest thing to a drama all winter was Toby Rudolf, a park ranger and a court appearance resolved without conviction, his pants, he reports, staying up from here.
- Group revenue $46.6 million, surplus $2.5 million, audited accounts to October 2025. The football club made $2.1 million, per the chief executive's report.
- Member-owned: Cronulla-Sutherland Leagues Club owns the football club outright, plus four property and retail subsidiaries.
