Danny Weidler

Danny Weidler is a rugby league reporter for Nine News and a columnist for the Sun-Herald, and has worked as a journalist since 1987. He hosts the Footy Talk podcast and won a Walkley Award in 2006 for his Nine News reporting. Weidler has been first to reach Cap Dramas with two contract stories this season, and has carried three in all. The latest, on 23 August: Joseph Manu signs with PNG Chiefs for 2028.
